On Saturday, August 23 and Sunday, August 24, 2025, artists in Ede will open their doors to the public during the Edese Atelierroute – and this year I am delighted to take part! Even more special: this weekend I’ll be sharing my studio with fellow artist Joyce Mytox.

We warmly invite you to step inside, take a look around, ask questions, and experience the work up close. Portrait drawings, free sketches, studies, and other pieces will be on display – some recently finished, others still ‘fresh’ from the easel.

👩‍🎨 Two styles, one space

Although our styles differ, Joyce and I share a love for observation, character, and craftsmanship. Joyce paints with rich colors, intuitively layered compositions, and vibrant expression. My work, on the other hand, lives in black and white: restrained, with a focus on detail and line. The contrast between our approaches is striking – and it is precisely this that creates a unique balance in the space. By exhibiting side by side, a dynamic emerges where our differences complement each other, allowing the work to breathe together. During the route, we hope to make this dialogue both visible and tangible.
